INTRODUCTION-

UV absorber 7003A is a benzotriazole type UV absorber. Characterized by its strong,broad range UV absorption property.UV absorber 7003A brings an excellent photostability to polymers against UV light exposure in many ways i.e. retarding color yellowing, preventing embrittlement, maintaining of mechanical properties etc.
UV absorber 7003a is particularly effective in styrenic polymers,PVC,unsaturated polyesters,polyurethanes,acrylic polymers and polycarbonates.It also can be utilized in clear polymers adhesives.

ADVANTAGES -

*Very stable to heat, and can be used in plastics which require high processing temperature.

*Very good compatibility with thermoplastic polymers offering homogeneous distribution during processing.

APPLICATIONS -

1.Styrenic polymers:
　0.2～0.5 wt% for PS based on polymer weight.
　0.5～2.0 wt% for ABS based on polymer weight.
　0.3～0.5 wt% for HIPSbased on polymer weight.
2.Polyvinyl chloride:
　0.2～0.5 wt% for rigid PVC based on polymer weight.
　0.1～0.3 wt% for plasticized PVC based on polymer weight.		 3.Polyurethane:
　0.3～1.0 wt% based on polymer weight.
4.Unsaturated polyester:
　0.2～0.4 wt% based on polymer weight.
5.Polycarbonate:
　0.15～0.3 wt% based on polymer weight.
6.Polyacrylate:
　0.15～0.3 wt% based on polymer weight.
TOXICITY & SAFETY - UV absorber 7003A can be safely handled without any irritation caused to the skin.
STORAGE - UV absorber 7003A should be stored in a closed system and be kept in a dry,dark place without any light exposure.
